Dr Aparna Hoskote is a Consultant Cardiac Intensivist and Specialty Lead for Cardiac Intensive Care at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust, a quaternary referral centre nationally commissioned for ECMO, mechanical circulatory support, cardiothoracic transplantation, pulmonary hypertension, and tracheal disease. She is also an Associate Professor at the UCL Institute of Cardiovascular Science, London, UK.

Dr Hoskote's professional focus integrates exemplary clinical care, robust clinical governance, and international collaboration. She is a leading educator in cardiac intensive care at a high-volume cardiac medical and surgical programme with outstanding national and international outcomes. Her research focuses on bedside cardiovascular and cerebrovascular physiology, neuromonitoring, neuroprotection, and neurodevelopmental outcomes in children supported on extracorporeal life support.

She serves on international professional Societies including EuroELSO Steering Committee, co-chairs the EuroELSO Working Group on Neurological Monitoring and Outcome, and is an Executive Committee Member of ESPNIC, where she leads on professional development.
